In 37 states, there will be an election for governors. This means that if a person is not happy with the present person, the voter has a chance to make changes. If a voter thinks that he or she's currently doing a good job, and is happy with the present governor, this is the time to show it. Picking a governor is an matter. Every governor will be forced to decide between raising taxes and fees and cutting programs, or a little of both. The incoming governors can ascertain whether a Democrat or Republican will hold power in the state legislatures and the U.S. House.
Right about now conventional wisdom will step up to say that it's not controlled, and I may harm myself with an overdose. No person in history has ever died of a marijuana overdose. Not one. You can not kill yourself with marijuana, even if you try really, really hard. The most that will happen to you is you will fall asleep after eating yet another cookie that you didn't really need.

I hope that at the end of it all, Laura isn't lost to anger or grief.
